How to join your teacher's class

Your teacher gave you a join code. Here's exactly what to do — it takes about 30 seconds, and you keep full control of your own diary.

1. Sign in to My Study Diary

Open mystudydiary.com and sign in (or sign up — it's free). Use the same account you already revise with so your existing hours and streak follow you.

2. Open the Join page

Go to /join or open Classes from the menu and click Join a class.

3. Paste the join code

Your teacher will have given you a short code (something like H7-MATHS-S5). Type or paste it in and hit join. You'll see the class appear on your Classes page right away.

What your teacher can see

How many focused minutes you logged this week.
Your current streak and last active day.
Which subjects you've been working on (not the notes themselves).

What your teacher cannot see

Your notes, PDFs, or anything you've written in the diary.
Your personal goals or reflections.
What you do outside the classes you've joined.

Leaving a class

You can leave a class at any time from the Classes page — your diary, notes and streak stay exactly as they were.
